Why we are building from Mangaluru

RUVEQ Solutions is a small team in coastal Karnataka, supported under the MeitY GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence programme. Here is how that shapes the way we work.

By RUVEQ Team

RUVEQ Solutions was founded in Mangaluru, Karnataka, by Maharaj Chinnadurai Poojary. Today we are a team of five, building emotionally intelligent systems from a city that is better known for its coastline than its AI companies. That is part of the point.

The support behind us

We are supported under the MeitY GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence programme, run through MeitY Startup Hub to grow technology startups beyond India's largest cities, and we are incubated at SHINE Foundation, the innovation hub of Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management. That support gives a young team the room to do careful research before rushing a product out.

Why build here

  • The problems we care about — patient follow-up, learning, companionship — exist everywhere, not only in metro cities.
  • Many people are most comfortable speaking the language they use at home. Building in India keeps that front of mind.
  • A focused team, close to its mentors and its incubator, can move carefully and still move fast.

What comes next

Our first product, Everiko, is planned to open to its first users in January 2027. Between now and then we are refining realism, latency and emotional coherence, and looking for partners in healthcare, education and enterprise who want to shape it with us.

If that sounds like you — or if you simply want to follow along — get in touch.

Consent first: how we think about emotion-aware AI

An AI that can read emotion and speak in a familiar voice raises real questions about consent, disclosure and dependence. These are the rules we have set for ourselves.
