How we handle your personal data

We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to answer you, we do not track you, and you stay in control. This is the full detail.

Last updated:

In short

  • We collect your name, email and message only if you use the contact form, plus basic technical data for security.
  • We use it to reply to you. We do not sell it, use it for marketing, or track you with analytics or ad cookies.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing [email protected].

Who we are

This website is run by RUVEQ Solutions (“RUVEQ”, “we”, “us”), an AI company based in Mangaluru, Karnataka, India, founded by Maharaj Chinnadurai Poojary. For the personal data described in this notice, we decide why and how it is used. In the language of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) we are the Data Fiduciary, and you are the Data Principal.

This notice covers this website only. Our product, Everiko, is not yet released. It will handle different and more sensitive information, and will have its own privacy notice before you can use it.

What personal data we collect

We collect very little. There are no accounts, no payments and no sign-in on this website.

What we do not do: we do not use analytics or advertising tools, we do not set tracking cookies, we do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not load third-party trackers on this website.

Why we use it, and on what basis

  • Your enquiry. We use your name, email and message to reply to you and to follow up on what you asked. We do this because you consent: the contact form has a checkbox you must tick, and sending the form is your clear, affirmative action. Consent is voluntary; you can email us instead.
  • Security and reliability. We use technical data to protect the site and our systems from misuse. This is a limited, necessary use that we describe here openly.
  • Legal obligations. We may keep or disclose data where the law requires it.

We do not use your data for marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who help us run the website and handle email, and only as far as they need to:

These providers act on our instructions and may only use the data to provide their service. We also may disclose data to a court, police or government authority where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Links to other websites (for example LinkedIn and GitHub) take you away from this site. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Transfers outside India

Some of our providers (for example, Resend) run servers outside India, so your contact-form message may be processed in another country. Where the law allows such transfers, we make them only to providers that we have chosen to protect data appropriately. If you prefer that your details are not handled this way, email us directly at [email protected] instead of using the form.

How long we keep it

Retention periods
DataHow long

Short-term spam protection counters (kept in memory)About one minute. They are not written to disk.
Theme preference in your browserUntil you clear your browser's site data. We do not hold it.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see “Your rights”).

How we protect it

We take reasonable security measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including:

  • encrypting traffic to and from the website with HTTPS;
  • running the site in an isolated container as a non-privileged user, behind a firewall that exposes only the ports it needs;
  • limiting who can access our servers and mailbox;
  • keeping the software we use up to date; and
  • collecting only the data listed in this notice.

No system is perfectly secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities in the way and within the time the law requires.

Your rights and how to use them

Under the DPDP Act and our own commitment to you, you may:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with;
  • ask us to correct or complete data that is wrong or out of date;
  • ask us to erase your personal data when it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it;
  • withdraw your consent at any time. This is as easy as giving it: send us an email. It does not affect what we did lawfully before you withdrew;
  • make a complaint if you think we have mishandled your data; and
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to act.

To use any of these rights, write to [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request”, and tell us what you would like us to do. We may ask you to confirm that the request comes from you before we act on it. We acknowledge requests within 7 days and aim to complete them within 30 days. Making a request is free.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once its complaint process is in force. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Children

This website is meant for adults and organisations. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

Cookies and local storage

We do not set cookies on this website, and we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies. The only thing stored on your device is your light or dark theme choice, in your browser’s local storage. It stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings. Because it is strictly needed for the display preference you chose, no cookie banner is required.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice, for example when we add features or when the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will say so prominently on this website before the change takes effect.
